There shall be pictures soon I hope yes :) ATM I'm pulling my hair out - she is going to great lengths to avoid a litter tray and I've tried open, covered, 3 types of litter and no litter at all (newspaper instead) and she will move away from an area she's been pooing where the tray now is to shit on the carpet 12 inces away. Kind of at my wits end here and considering shutting her in the kitchen :(
Shutting her in the kitchen/a bathroom might be for the best, both for you and for her. If her diarrhea lasts for another day, I'd call the vet, mainly for the health of the unborn kittens.

I'm guessing stress is most likely - it sounds as though she may not have ad the best home in the world to start with.
Maybe a feliway plug in and lots of boxes to hide in / under would help?
Is she able to have a room separate from Kitten, for now?
(and will there be pictures, soon - she sounds gorgeous, apart from the poo!)
