...i swear on my mocha coffee & gauloises cigarettes that i meant to update days ago, & then hours ago. but now, instead.

well. you are not, i promise, ruining mine.

my my my... drinks do fly by in flurries when you're not paying a cent, & it does seem to help to hold each other's eyes & use the word "dearest" & tell tales of our exploits. so we laughed & she ran & i ran behind her, ready to sleep in until long after the next sunrise. but that was a day or two ago?

yesterday was a blissful day. really, really just full of peace.

stoned & wandering the city, between his arrival & visiting her, & conversing with the guy at the store... gorgeous weather. i got things done. i felt accomplished & relaxed.
