I vote Art Museum and/or Ice Skating and food... I know a lot of people love to do it, but I always think going to movies is kind of a waste of "friend time." (I have Netflix, I can do that eventually!)

The American Indian museum is really neat, but kind of far from the others -- that would be a good second meet getting off at the Smithsonian stop.

hehe, well.. first I wrote a post seeing what everyone wanted to do.. I just wanted cupcakes ;P
Viv suggested art museum before~ so I said that, suggested movie.. everyone said movie + cupcakes sounds great.. then I noticed that envirion said spiralred mentioned ice skating at the last meet and agreed with her.. so I made another survey post for all of it @_@.. but then I saw Viv's post about gift sets and someone mentioned the zoo meetup to her and she said she wanted to do the art museum + lunch at american indian museum.. and I've always wanted to do it and I mentioned that I was planning a meet up the day before zoo meet up...

The furthest thing is the american indian museum.. it's like 15 min walk from the ice skating/art museum..
I'm almost the same about movies.. but I like talking about movies too~ ._.;; anyways, I'm going to make another post.. haha ;O; I hope no one minds..

People who don't want to do everything don't have to show up for everything. It'll take some major organization to get everything right in that case though. This from another event organizer=)
There is also the metro close or showing on that entire map which is a plus (tho an expense) esp for people that don't want to hike.

I recently talked to someone about how movies are kind of the anti-awkward social situation because you don't have to talk during and you have something in common after. That doesn't mean they're not fun but I see where M is coming from=)

Now theatre (not movie theatre)...I've been meaning to take Sue to a show for a long time. Such a lazy Joe.

Hehe, thanks for the advice. I'll try to keep it in mind.
I thought about the metro, but then I realized the stations that were closest were on different lines :(

And I can see both sides of the movie thing~

*hugs an employed Joe-ex-nemesis*
