Kirjoituskyvyttömyys: Lähtisitkö tosi-TV-ohjelmaan?

FUCK YES, I'd do it. For example, Big Brother, just to see how an introverted misanthrope like me would interact there. It's not because of the fame, I've had my fair share of Internet fame already and that's all I need, thankyouverymuch, but the experience would be priceless.

As a way of mental growth a reality tv show like Big Brother would be ( Read more... )

Haha, I've always thought it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to be on any reality show. Especially those ones where you pretend to have a personal revelation and "grow" as a person and stuff. I am just so not suited for any of that, or interacting with the other lame people on the show.

That's a part of the challenge, actually. Majority of the participant in, for example, the Finnish Big Brother are... well, idiots. There's this one girl who has said things like, "Japan isn't an island" and "Is Argentina in Scotland?" and so forth. Majority of them are plain dumb like that, and I can't stand people like that. Usually I avoid people like that, but being in a closed house with them would be a nice challenge.

We'll see if I ever end up participating... :D

OMG, when I was in high school this girl once said, "OHHH. I thought Singapore was in Europe!"

I think reality shows are about the art of being stupid. Who ever thought it would be interesting to see a bunch of mediocre idiots, the standard, live together, go about their daily lives, and argue with each other while ostensibly moving towards some "goal" like become engaged to someone on the show? But apparently it is, because they're so popular.

...oh, gods.

Recently, the Finnish Big Brother has been a little bit more than just their daily lives. The people are divided into two groups, first of them have basically nothing but peasoup to eat and a bare floor to sleep on, while the others have practically everything they could wish for. Also, alcohol is consumed. A lot.

My interest for the show is mainly psychological - fourteen people who don't know each other are put into the same house, and they must get along with each other. I must admit, the concept is intriguing. It's too bad the show nowadays revolves around alcohol and sex.
