ive been meaning to tell you this all week. Day before thanksgiving I went to Brooklyn to see this band calleld The Hold Steady on the way there, I was slightly lost on where the venue was. There was a boy in a big russian hat with a girl walking a little bit behind us on the street.
Seeing how they were the only kids on the street, i went up to the boy and asked him if he knew where venue was.
"Oh yea rights right up ahead on diggs ave. I'm on my way there now too. Are you going to see the Hold steady?"
"Of course!"
and then he laughed, and when he laughed his face lifted towards the dim street light and I saw his face clearly for the first time.
