ER visit

some time shortly after midnight, opening my eye (at all) became an intensely painful thing to do - it felt like my cornea was rolling up every time i blinked. it had been bothering me for a few days, but i had thought it was a bit of contact stuck in my eye that was being scratchy, and didn't think much of it. after this, though, it became ( Read more... )

Eek! Glad you're doing somewhat better, and not blind. Are they having you do anything to take care of it? Hope it's better soon!

eye ointment with antibiotics, painkillers, and a follow-up visit to an optometrist - fun!

Speaking of reminding, I think you mentioned once that you could recommend a good optometrist. I can't read street signs anymore, so it seems like a good time to schedule an appointment.

Sorry to hear about the late-night ER visit, I'm glad it turned out to be a (relatively) minor issue!
