i just had to post this because it makes me so happy.... (e-mail sent to my supervisor - totally unsolicited - from a department administrator - and my boss's response):

I just want to let you know that Jennifer is amazing.  She is incredibly patient, informative, responsive, helpful, etc, etc...

I had only limited interactions with her
