I've maybe figured out what's up with the tentative opening week schedules. Someone had the bright idea of squeezing in a two-game exhibition series, O's vs. Nats , before the season starts. These games are the 31st of March and April 1 (and in further madness the first will be at RFK and the second at Camden Yards). There are no games Sunday, April 2nd, which should be Opening Day, and then Washington goes to New York for a real game on the 3rd like everyone else. Um. What are the schedulers on?
