I need anime recs! I run more towards the shounen end of the spectrum, but rec me anything!

Currently watching: Bleach, FMA:Brotherhood, Naruto

Also, TV and movie recs that I might have missed?

personally ouran high school host club is my favourite anime of all time, mostly for the crack, but also for the pretty boys. i liked fate/stay night and kyou kara maou as well, even though i never finished those, and oh, oh, saiyuki!

I loved Host Club :( And couldn't get into Kyou Kara Maou very much. But yes, I forgot about Saiyuki! *goes to find*

Uh. I haven't watched all of these but it is a consensus that school rumble and death note are good anime.

Hi Shay! I hope you don't mind me going a little bit spastic here. I have to admit, my recs are not going to be very "contemporary" since I haven't really watched any anime for the past few years.

I don't think people have mentioned Yami no Matsuei yet? (although I think you've seen it already right? and truthfully, I love the manga a lot more, moo.)

Bus Gamer is pretty good if you want a bit of action. =] The story is by the mangaka of Saiyuki.

Trigun is a CLASSIC must see! I would also probably say D.Gray-man, FMA (& FMA:fumoffu for the lols), Getbackers and Kyou Kara Maou.

Ahhh, YnM why did it stop so suddenly :(

I have seen FMA, can't get into Getbackers or KKM, but I will give the others a go!

Getbackers (the anime) was rather pointless. I mean, the anime cut off the story just when it was getting into the whole main storyline!

KKM is really amusing. It's one of those, toss out your sensible side and just watch for the laughs. XD
