It's probably known to most of you that I have weird dreams. I feel it would have been a great disservice to have let this one erase itself from my memory, as so many others have. Comments and questions welcome. [editor's note: Please forgive the crappy proofreading. I can't write these unless I'm half asleep]

Ok, maybe i am weird, but cool dream. Was wondering, since you have the waking paralysis thing with your terrors, have you learned to use it to enter lucid dreaming yet? I learned that a long time ago, and havent had but a few nightmares in the past 15 years. Just a thought you might want to look into. And if you do accomplish that (the lucid dreaming) you will be amazed at the changes it makes in your life as a whole.

I frequently have lucid dreams, a couple times a month, but they aren't especially interesting usually. When I achienve a lucid state in my dream, most of the "Fantastic" qualities cease to be, and it just seems to be an alternate reality. I have been improving with it though, in my ability to enter those states, but also in the ability to interact with them. At first, when I entered a lucid state, all activity and other people in my dream would vanish, and I would spend my time walking around a lifeless but interesting and hyperreal world. Lately, the other characters have remained for me to interact with, which is interesting. The conversations are really neat, especially when it's with a dream character of someone I know, or used to know ( ... )

I deleted my last comment, just have a problem with people thinking I am nuts. To put things in a less psychotic way, you should try to go even further when in a lucid state. There is so much you can do, and though it can be scarry at first but, once you get used to it, it is almost better than real life. I spent the majority of my mid to late teenage years sleeping just to be able to do that kind of thing, and will be the first to admit you can't run away from real life. But that "other worldly" type of experience can be just as good if not better in alot of ways, as you pointed out (though I never did jack off, I must say that some guys are not nearly as hard to get into bed in a lucid dream ;p ) I never had that problem that you spoke of with everyone dissappearing in my lucid states, for me it was/is quite the opposite. There is nothing more powerful than being able to do/get everything you would want like you can in a lucid state. And there is so much more also. Keep with it, and when you do get to a lucid state, try ( ... )
