Hard to say. The doctor had better things to do than counsel me about it I guess. He handed me some brochures, but there aren't any good options, and none that I can do anything about right now. I'll probably need surgery of some kind.

a few folks I know have sleep apnea and swear by their CPAP machine. I took an oximetric test but they didn't find anything. I hope you have some kind of health coverage as the machines can be rather pricey, but from what people tell me their sleeping is loads better with the machine.

Good luck, pup.

Yeah, no thanks. I'm not sure which would be worse.

My dad rents a CPAP machine and it has helped him tremendously. His insurance pays for part of the rental, I think. Good luck!

I have a tremendous aversion to having anything touch my face. I don't think I could tolerate that, or the dental appliance, for more than 30 seconds. Some of the surgery options don't sound too invasive. I'm going to look into that.

I thought so too, but not so it seems. That's one of the reasons it's taken me so long to diagnose this. My dad has it with snoring, but he's also very overweight.
