So..
Alexander Rybak won the 2009 Eurovision song contest (aka. GPdEdlC)

Admittedly, I didn't see the finals and have not heard any of the other songs. True, he can hit a note, which does tend to put you in the top 10 percent of the contestants, and the tune isn't all that bad, if entirely unmemorable. His voice is as intriguing as Jurassic Park 2
