Last night - more experiments

I finished the other wire-wrapping experiment.

I think the problem here is that there should have been a bigger difference in diameter between the two wires - 0.6mm copper and 0.8mm silver-plated. It means that the copper doesn't wrap closely enough round the edges. It also has gaps because of the 'adding a new wire' issue :p
The middle part was all done, I just finished adding the spirals last night. I'm tagging it as a pendant, though it could also be a fairly big earring.

I made another earring that is a variation on a theme.

I started out trying to make the twin to Melting Ice, but I messed up the top circle by not adding the right amount of beads to it and had made it in such a way that both ends would have to be unwrapped to fix that, and that would leave me with an unsightly mess of kinked wire that probably wouldn't wrap back at all neatly (if it didn't break). So I made it into a teardrop shape instead and added another one underneath. I like it - it was a lot easier than the other earring and the wraps and tops of the circles are neater.

These have both had extensive post-processing done on the photos in an attempt to make them look a bit better (sharpening, levels, contrast). It looks ok on my screen, but yell if you think I've Gone Too Far...
