it usually takes me 30 mins (maybe more now that i've actually started to crop pictures) to do the photos, then a bit to do the actual post. i don't do it in one sitting though, usually.

i like a bit of plot, but not so much that i can tell that you are intentionally doing things to the sims just for a story.

Like intentionally screwing with relationships, i.e making it so one sim doesn't like another just for a story

It's different if they do it autonomously like Lukas hates Skye now that he saw Rudolf kissing him

It takes me around 3-4 hours usually for an update, depending how distracted I get and whether I waffle around about which screen shots I want to delete. XD

I like some plot, but not like an overwhelming amount. I think a lot people just skim when they are reading.

It also depends on how distracted I get. I usually end up working a full day on one update. (Start at work, finish at home)

Reading is actually my favorite part :P I love the stuff people come up with :D I'm very picky though on what I read XD

More then once it has taken me three days to organize updates ^^' Yay for distraction XD

Some plot is definitely cute and adds meat to the sim characters. But when it goes from being a legacy to become a photostory, I stop reading. The reason I like legacies are because of the wacky randomness and braindamage that might happen xD

As for how long it takes me to update... depends a bit. Most often between one to two hours, maybe three. I usually update right after playing, so I remember everything and is still loling about it xD

I think the only thing I may add on a bit is quotes and perhaps more obvious set up instead of the usual 'let's go to the park and pick a wife' ^^'

I should have made an option of 3-4 cumulative hours in the span of 3-4 days because that's really what it takes me lol :P I usually play so late I don't have the energy to update :P
