To me, too! Though the pregnancy still seems like it took eight years, the time I've had him outside my body seems very brief. He just got a haircut recently, and I was like, "But...who is this great big boy? Where's my baby??"
Oh that is adorable! The nicest cat ever for not swatting at Bear! And he has gotten so big! Those little coos he makes are also adorable. And I feel horrible for missing your Birthday. I hope you were spoiled by your loved ones.
She does box his ears (without claws) if she decides he's out of line, but she has a remarkably high threshhold for being mauled and climbed on. Though he's getting heavy, so she doesn't let him do this as much anymore.

Whoa! How old is Bear now? Talking and everything! And yeah, crushing the cat. Getting a bit big for that.
Sparky would have ripped our Small Child to pieces for doing that to her. Really. Shreds everywhere. Sparky has only accepted SC now that SC is old enough to feed her.
He is getting big, and she is tolerating it less these days. I think she was feeling disinclined to budge that day for some reason. But she's always tolerated a lot from him, though I'm at a loss to tell you why.
