I seem to have misplaced a large portion of my boxers....

I just got notification that I've been accepted by Oita University. I'll be spending a year studying abroad in Japan.

Now to get everything together to make sure it happens.

These days, I sometimes feel like a vagrant in my own town. Neither of my folks seem too keen on having me stay at their house.

It bothers me how optimistic people are about my performance in school. It's true that I'm a good student in general. And I got good grades in high school and at the JC. But since coming to SFSU I've found out that I'm just bad at Japanese. It's not stopping me from studying it, but my GPA has been tanking since I got here because of how poorly I ( Read more... )

My grandma Betty died a two weeks ago. It's kind of a remote experience though. I wasn't very close to her for most of my life because she wasn't actually "my" grandma. She is my cousins grandma. So Grandma is in the hospital at the moment. She's not in critical condition or anything. But she wasn't able to move her legs a couple nights ago so My aunt took here in.
