Light to lighten the gentiles

It's National Poetry Day today, and I gather this year's theme is light. Not that you'd know it; the theme never seems to be publicised, and I always have to do a bit of digging to find it. The BBC has apparently decided that the theme is British identity, and has been running a series of programmes to which I've been listening most of the day ( Read more... )

Thank you - I have always needed to be educated at poetry. For some reason I love poetry but I don´t read it. And always, I am astonished how beautiful it is as soon as I decide to read it after all...
And light is wonderful...

Oh! Somebody did reply to this post, but LJ didn't tell me about it! And you were the one person I thought most likely to reply, so I was a little puzzled that I didn't hear from you, but it was just LJ being silly.

Thank you for the confidence, I will do my best not to disappoint you.
As for LJ, this happens quite often and only my daily checking here prevents me from missing the post. On top of that, I have Windows 10 now and I am still fighting with some things that used to be a routine for me - mostly uploading my photos in the PC - W10 ignores my old programme and some older ones too.
I had to ask my son to help, so hopefully it will be better now. :-)
