I have to say huzzah! to Mayor Gavin Newsom of San Francisco for being so bold and to make an amazing stand against same-sex marriage ban. I've been keeping up with the news on this issue since they started issuing marriage licenses. Over 3000 couples now have exchanged their vows. Seriously. I can't understand how people can't see this whole "separate but equal but not" thing just doesn't work. It hasn't worked in our past, it won't work now. That old addage of "If you don't learn from history you are bound to repeat it" seems to apply.
God I wish people would learn.
