I got the library internship with the Children's Book Council in New York that I wanted! It's only one day a week and doesn't pay anything, but for not actually having any grad work under my belt it's a pretty big accomplishment. Plus, it's kind of my dream job. I get to be a librarian at a facility that deals exclusively with children's lit. woah

there's nothing quite like taking a night hike with two lovely ladies and a crotch sniffing dog.

I didn't get the scholarship :(

I'm off to Florida for a week to visit my parents. Adios cruel weather!

In 1963 my father wrote a song titled "My God is a Good God" which was later published by Gospel Publishing House and put into a book titled "Melody Choruses".

This was, of course, before he met my mother, the heathen, and started collecting movies about drag queens.
