Just thought I'd post some of my knowledge to get this community started

viewing page source is a good way to help build sites and find out hidden data. Also, when coding(a web page), it's best to try and hide your password code (if any) because who wants their site compromised by a few mouse clicks and ctrl+c's ctrl+v's?

Using flash for password protection is a BAD idea

you will get caught

there is no such thing as paranoia. double, triple and quintuple checking your code, means of entry, cleaning tracks(ethical hacking only) is mandatory! Unless you look good in "nickelodeon orange"

password as a password is a great idea. Just ask anyone who's had their system compromised
so is admin for the administrator name

leet speak is soo teh stupid. please learn how to say "the" and elite. Also, those forms of talk and righteousness went out along with pet rocks, yo-yo's and tamagotchi's

a portable hard drive is you and your friend's best bet. Thumb disk(jump drives) are also helpful in transporting critical files.

you can boot from the cd(change options in BIOS if locked out from the machine), making floppy drives useless. But it's still good to have one for nostalgia's sake

when formatted correctly, an ipod can hold mac os x, among other programs. This probably means you mac owners might want to check permissions for unauthorized external storage devices.

google is critical for the search of information in this day and age. Unless someone ports a version to an on board mind interface, tis the best around. Learn inclusive and exclusive terms (i.e. +, - ,"", and so on)

when web surfing, to clean tracks, you need to look on your system. Clicking "delete temporary files" and "clear history" doesn't always do it. You need to look in your account's temp folder(usually hidden, go to -->Documents and Settings--->User Name--->Local Settings--->temp and peruse through those files. Recently viewed movie files will still be cached on your system.

that's all I can think of for now, feel free to revise, add, or state something else. We all need to help each other, whether help is asked or not. People might be too scared to ask "dumb" questions.
"there aren't any stupid questions, just stupid people"
