I remember seeing this beautiful overcoat in House of Frasear(sp?!) about 4 years ago. It was gorgeous. Upon examining the price tag I discovered to my horror that it was £700! You are right, you should never need to pay those prices unless you are buying arctic grade clothing to keep you alive.
