We have Undead and Unwed. Dave got it as part of a book-buying club he was in. He said that he would say I bought it, this isn't true. It was fun. Although I don't understand the obsession with shoes. But that is just me, I am a crap girl.
I also thought it was a bit... mucky, when Sookie and Bill had graveyard sex. In fact a lot of that show is just downright unhygienic.
Only took me a month to notice your comment, how bad is that?!
I always hated shopping for shoes when I was little, as it seemed so boring to me. I thought I still felt that way and the pleasure I got from buying new shoes was that of relief to have found some that fit. Then I realised I was getting the same pleasure from buying handbags, and that actually I just like admiring different colours, textures and designs. I can also justify the purchase to myself because shoes are necesseties and handbags are too to a certain extent, and so you can convince yourself that you are buying it for a functional purpose and not just because it's pretty. Before you know it you're swamped in the things. Quite cunning psychology really.
Not long now until he second series of True Blood graces our screens. What larks, Pip, what larks!
Fair enough, you've got a lot on at the moment. And I know many people don't check LJ as compulsively as I do.
Shoes are alright. However shoes (especially in combination with clothes and accessories) is an area where I suspect there are rules that I don't understand. I feel similar about cooking.
