having a HUGE ass present sitting in my room that i cant open until i'm on the plane from a guy whos so freakin great that he tried to go to the art store and pick out some supplies for me but got so confused he opted for a gift certificate and gave it to me as an early plane present...i need a peek to unravel this mystery

he's my FRIEND...i used to work with him at starbucks...hes so sweet and a great guy but i'm just not into him like that...but i know he likes me...so it makes for bad times when i have a mystery gift in my room....why cant i ever fall for the nice guys who would treat me right?

...........it's because 'nice guys finish last'. Ask Grace about this. She has a similar complex as you. Seems like you 2 girls, and many other girls out there, often over look nice guys to persue other ventures with generic, dime-a-dozen Joe Testosterone. It's quite disheartening for nice guys to go out and pursue girls. Some nice guys are quiet and shy reletive to agressive and obnoxious Joe Testosterone. Other nice guys fall under the 'psuedo-gay' friend. Girls feel less threatened by gay guys, and often go out with them. Nice guys are treated the same way, but get no play. They're not gay... but they get treated the same way. I get that a lot... it really sucks.

anyhoo... if it doesn't click, it doesn't click. Just chalk up another tally for another nice guy lost.

i know it sucks...its not like i WANT to be like this...i know i want to be with a nice guy but whenever they come around i just dont get any sparks....and as for "Joe T." i get all the sparks (i think it must just be the confidence) but i never want to go out with them...basically we all lose
