Stories? You betcha, but best of luck on the move to Phoenix. I lived there for a year and a half, during the first 15 years of my life in AZ. It was sooo nice to be back in the desert atmosphere. The rain smells so wonderful out there and the storms, although few, last really long. I don't know if you're going to like 115 degrees with no humidity, but to me it's a lot better than 95* with 100% humidity. I was in Vegas at 103* with pants on and loving it. What part of Phoenix are you thinking of living? It's a lot like ATL, there are a couple cities that it has swallowed and there are some pretty bad places to be around. Despite all that, my best recommendations for romantic outings/scenes while there:

1) Seeing a sunrise and a sunset.
2) Seeing the stars around 2-3am, absolutely gorgeous.
3) Watching meteor showers around July-August.
