Hooray! I'm human!
I don't know if it's the change in diet or just the 2nd trimester magic finally kicking in, but I've been feeling a lot better the last few days. Oh, man, it's such a relief! It's like a fog has cleared. I still have a lot less energy than a non-pregnant person and I get headaches when I'm tired and nauseous if I don't eat often enough, but--it's ( Read more... ) -

I spoke with my midwife yesterday about the fact that I've still been getting sick even though I'm past 14 weeks already. She recommended that I try cutting out dairy (for now) and also cut out fruit and juice and other sugars for a few days. She thinks that the dairy might be giving me digestive problems, and that the sugars might be making too ( Read more... ) -
2nd Trimester
On Saturday I was officially 14 weeks pregant, which brings me into my second trimester. This is good news. Most women feel a lot less tired and nauseous in the 2nd trimester. Then the 3rd trimester is supposed to be a mixture of good days and bad days ( Read more... ) -
Blood the Last Translator
It was hard for me to accept it, but Geo is right. It's probably unwise for me to take a last SD job in June. It's always a struggle not to get sick on SD jobs, with all of the air travel and long hours, and during pregnancy the immune system is that much weaker.
