Personality: Since he was a child, Tim Drake's been through as many ups and downs in his life as anyone out there. He's always possessed a strong sense of who he was and what he wanted to do with a high morality code, at least higher than most kids his age, which has followed him into his teenage years. Drake also has a decent composure when it comes to certain things, like when he lost his parents just as they lost everything. However, despite overcoming this, the death of his friends and the temporary death of his mentor both emotionally affected Tim, more than anything, causing him to be emotionally distant at times, except to Dick Grayson and his best friends Conner Kent and Bart Allen.
His responsibility and intelligence make him trustworthy enough that his adoptive father saw it fit to leave his multi-million dollar company in his hands until he could return. Sometimes, Tim fears his age will be a limit, even though he's considered a trustworthy ally by some of the greatest superheroes known in his world as well as a friend.
Despite how serious Tim can come off as, he isn't a complete stick-in-the-mud and always making bad puns when the opportunity presents itself. Once you get to know him, it'll become obvious that Tim is, or sometimes is, obsessed with technology to a point and can hack some of the most complex computer systems. When he was younger he even used terms like epic fail and pwn'd, though he has grown out of using both for the most part.
His determination makes him a little hard-headed on certain issues, especially while in his Red Robin mantle. He sees it as his duty to make sure his friends, or anyone he meets really, are safe if he unknowingly gets them involved in less than ideal situations. He also makes sure they're safe in situations not his fault.
Tim is a martyr when it comes to his friends. No matter the situation he is more likely to sacrifice his own needs or wants to fulfill theirs, no matter how big the requests. While this sounds bad, he trusts those friends enough to have his back and to come and help whenever the situation may arise
History:
http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Timothy_Drake_(New_Earth)
Abilities: Tim Drake is highly skilled in various forms of martial arts combat, his strongest and most preferred of which being staff combat. He possesses a genius-level IQ, being able to process tough situations quicker than most other non-meta superheroes. At one point he was able to out think Ra's Al Ghul, bringing down a plot the man had to harm his closest friends and family. His hacking skills, if rated on a 1-10 scale are an 8, though he is more than capable of hacking though a 10's system with a little more time.
When it comes to escapology he can get out of nearly any situation such being handcuffed, stuck in a box, or being in a tight situation when fighting. His acrobatic abilities, while not quite up to par with other batfamily members, is more than adequate, allowing him to land and flip while swinging off of his line. Of course he has his share of off days as well, and is not always perfect at his job.
Possessions:
An Extendable Staff
Utility Belt with Smoke Bombs, Kryptonite, Flash Bombs, Grappling Hook, and Taser with refills
Mask
First-Person Sample: How should I even start to do this.... The motion sensors are compromised, rule number one is always to watch for motion sensors. Especially in situations like this. Next was to disable the guard. No problem, there was only on on duty but now... there's two on the left, one near the door. I think I hear one heading up this way but I can handle that one quietly enough. No need to alert the guards yet.
[Looks to the door behind him before moving against the wall to wait for the man.]
There's no time to think much. He'll open the door, I'll have to hit him with my staff, hope I don't give him a concussion. This is just to gather information, Tim, to give Gordan and the Gotham Police something to go on.
[After hearing the door open he quickly uses his extending staff, now at the ready, to knock him out.]
Good. I've got at least 10 minutes until his friends come looking for him, [fingers start tapping at the computer rapidly after he inserts a disk, grinning in victory when he completes the transfer], that was easy. Three minutes to spa---
[He looks to the now open door with at least two people there, looking to the unconscious body then to Red Robin.]
I really hate overtime.
Third-Person Sample: Things weren't the hard financially or emotionally for once. Well. Maybe the last part wasn't completely untrue. He was around 18 now and by the time Dick had turned 18 he... Tim sighed and shook his head. 'There's no point on dwelling on relationships Tim, the former boy wonder reminded himself. After all this was the present. This was the time and place he had resolved to be in before he even stepped out the door this morning.
Crouching low on the rooftop that overlooked Gotham, he re-examined the city he had grown to know like the back of his hand. The stars from his height were faded from the Wayne charity event light, he'd have to attend that after making sure things were clear. Even without those lights, Gotham was bright enough. At least this part of town.
When Tim looked down he was reminded why he was here in the first place. The young protege swooped down to save the damsel in distress from a simple pick-pocket. An easy days work, but now he had to go further into town, towards the slums and to Crime Alley. There he took in the sounds of police sirens, though who knew if they were crooked cops or the ones Gordon trusted. Everything seemed fine there. For now at least. That didn't mean it was time for him to 'clock-out' just yet.
Looking around one last time he grinned inwardly, 'a slow day is good once in a while. It means far less questions when I get there'. With that thought in mind, Tim went back to the upper class part of Gotham and quick-changed in an alleyway, slipping into the Wayne Foundation.
“Sorry I'm late,” he smiled, walking up to an older man in a suit with similar black hair and blue eyes, “there was a small issue, nothing too horrible.” He smiled when Dick laughed, understanding perfectly what he meant. After all, Gotham was their city to protect, even if it was on different teams sometimes.
