I had the best night last night.

I went to the Dir En Grey gig in Islington and it was FUCKING AMAZING.

It was just brilliant. The venue was quite small so even if you were standing towards the back of the room you could see pretty clearly. And we were standing all over the room all across the night cos of all the moshing that was going on.

Thanks! =) I was on a high all night and most of today, but was also feeling really tired, kind of hungover-ish =( Which sensation I'm sure you're quite familiar with, oh shochu lover XD

hmmmm... soju, yes, it loves me and I love it and thankfully, I've never gotten a hangover from it! can't say the same for the rum, though! ;-P

Actually I'm the same with soju. I'm good with vodka too. I don't quite know what it is that gives me hangovers because on days I have them, I've probably had a lot to drink the night before, and mixed all my drinks up like crazy =( Bad idea I know, but sometimes I just get carried away (this is when I'm already "merry" as we like to call it XD)

My mate calls soju "lighter fluid" hahaha.

Dir En Grey were so amazing! In fact, I kind of wondered for a moment if you were there as I was standing in queue X3 Just cos you like Japanese music and you're in London too, so I thought you might have heard of the gig and bought tix too.

And now I am back into the whole music thing again =)

no i wasn't there, i probably would've gone if my friend wasn't on holiday because she loves their music. the last gig i went to a local thing a few months ago i need to go to some proper gigs XD

thats cool though there really is nothing like going to a live gig, its such an adrenaline rush :D

I have an ex-boss who turned musician and she keeps inviting me to her gigs in pubs and stuff, but always during the winter! o___O Weather conditions have prevented me from attending thus far.

Are you going to MCR then? Or do you not like them?

They were so fucking brilliant, it was the most amazing gig ever! I couldn't stop getting their music out of my head even after I'd left the venue and I was headbanging and jumping around all the way home practically! Only thing that spoilt it kind of were the people who kept trying to squeeze by and that. I mean, "Get out of my way, I'm trying to focus on Kyo's abs!" o__O

DO YOU LIKE MCR TOO?!??! OMG, I love you even more!!! Hey, can't you go to Projekt Revolution? They're at that, with Linkin Park! They play at loads of locales all over the US, so you should be able to find one near you. I'm so jealous actually, I really want to go!!!

No band I like is performing in October ;____; I know Ellegarden is performing but I don't really like them so much.

Since Linkin Park is too heavy for you I guess you won't like Maximum the Hormone XD I love them. But they are performing two days before I arrive in Japan!!! *cries*
