I sliced open my thumb when opening a can of beans. Right down to the bone. The kitchen looked like the scene of a massacre, blood everywhere! To this day, I have a massive scar on my thumb and I never regained all the feeling in it.

Ouch indeed. I can somehow relate to the loss of feeling, as the tip of my nose never regained its full sensibility after surgery (5 years ago I guess). This is an awkward sensation...
