... Man, three massive shits? I'd make it five for the shock value, but that'd be standard Hollywood over-the-top shit for ya. Anyway, as hilarious as the comment by the other 'nonymous floating around here was, you've made characteristically excellent points. Speaking of a fan of the games, the things that made the first and the third the strongest for me was the fact it was two characters you didn't usually see in games; a combat unexperienced older guy who writes and loves his missing daughter so much he'll risk going into the blasted heath of the unknown, and a strong young woman who is not defined by her love interest or lack thereof - but by the trials she goes through and how SHE resolves them. Great stuff that we could see a lot more of if the media weren't obsessed with stereotypes and trying to peddle them to us to propel imaginary fuckin' Empires, man
( ... )

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the post :)
You're right, too.. producers are just too set in their ways. The majority of mindless viewers want the same bullshit, and Hollywood keeps feeding it to them.
But at the very least.. the new movie will give me something new to rant about!

I don't know what I was thinking.
I will stop nitpicking and whining immediately.
Thank you for enlightening me, benevolent stranger.
