Back in the USA.  Crazy.

My luggage got stuck in Brussels.  Hopefully, it'll be here today.

There are a lot of things I could write about, but instead I'm going to make some food.

I'm physically ready to leave Berlin.  Emotionally, probably not.  I'm going to miss this place so much.  My flight leaves at midnight, Midwest time, and I'll get into JFK at noon.  After hanging out with some cousins, I'm apparently headed to the Warped Tour.  Sometime late, my day will end.  This is going to be a marathon day of epic proportions ( Read more... )

Today I saw, or rather only heard, Obama speak again.  Less rhetoric this time, more actual substance, but not by much.  I'm interested to see how this plays out.

Also, it was so crowded.  I have never been elbowed in the boobs so much as I was this afternoon.  And by random Germans (and Americans, and whoever else was there) no less.

My bank account is not in nearly as bad of shape as I thought!  Good thing I hold a rather pessimistic view of the strength of the dollar, I get more excited when I check my balance.  It will be nice to put money into the account rather than only taking it out, however ( Read more... )

I'm going to be on German radio on Thursday, talking about Obama.

I'm done with all of my schoolwork for this semester, so I guess I'm a senior in college now.  Weird.  I have no idea how that happened so fast.

My handwriting isn't the neatest, so sometimes it's hard to understand my notes.  But when they fluctuate between languages and my handwriting's bad and I missed words because the professor spoke too fast, it's nearly impossible.

This is going to be the best paper ever.

Wow.  Today was a day of awkward.  First, a breakfast in my Sprachkurs, which was really awkward with the professor there.  Then, turning in my paper to my professor for my seminar (keep in mind I've never spoken in this class, and he didn't know who I was, really) and not totally understanding what he said, and just kind of standing around in his ( Read more... )
