What makes good music?

Or, to rephrase that: What makes music good?

I always say that the ability of certain music to make you feel something different than when listening to any other music makes it good. Also a song that you get so focused on, and concentrate on every single word, that you forget to breathe for elongated seconds of time makes it amazing. And if it calms you, makes you want to sing along, dance to it, or puts you in a generally good mood also makes it good.

artsy response: good music is relative, because the opinion of good depends on an individual's personal response to the music within themselves. Depending on moods, rhythms, pitches, and keys, music can manipulate a person in a way that they view as either "good" or "bad."
