the class announcement thing, as far as i am aware, was actually the idea of mrs. wise. and i wasn't notified about a roving announcement, merely a few students speaking in her classes about it.

Yes, he is right about that. I think Mrs. Wise used the announcement as a point of discussion for her class, not to necessarily join more people to our cause.

The GSA has never preached nor accepted the practice of defeating intolerance with intolerance. If you see or hear of anyone doing so, they are not represnting GSA in the way that the club is intended. Talk to them individually if you feel that way, don't make a general statement about it.
