I leave for college in a little over four hours. Unlike my comrades and compatriots who have long awaited this mass exodus with joyful yearning and are now (or will be shortly) reveling in the ecstasy of its forthcoming, I feel no happiness in its arrival. To say that its commencement is bittersweet is a falsehood as it comes with all the pain

You are going to be something great in life. The way that you write and act is with such presciceness that it is lofty to comprehend. I've looked up to you for some years at collins hill...sometimes for rather odd reasons lol. God has gifted you with so many talents, I pray that he will lead you down the road of life where your gifts may be shared with others and that they would be blessed through it. Good luck at college. Hard times, good times. you know how it goes.

Tyler Nichols, I love you! I am so very glad Sarah and you are friends....and I firmly believe that your friendship is one of those that will simply be augmented by this relentless passage of time. Distance and the added spice of new places of reference can make some things even better. Maybe you (and Laura Ann) can journey to NYC to see your mutual friend! I certanly hope so. At any rate, expect to come over during Thanksgiving for a get-together....
