It's weird; I feel bad for feeling badly, if that makes sense. So many people have lost everything, so I shouldn't feel badly for losing a few pixels ... and yet -

I sent you ten today. Did you get them? I have more, but the boy was on the computer when I got home. I'm on my work laptop, but I'll migrate to the computer with the icons and send you more. I've got lots. There are a couple that I'm not sure about, but if I even suspect they're yours I'm sending them.

I understand feeling bad for feeling bad, but you shouldn't. These are something you created, something you put part of yourself into and so losing them hurts.

I'd feel the same way.

I had another boring doctor visit today, and I was so glad to see them when I opened my email.

I think what I'm maddest about is that I had LJ open in two tabs, and I saw that all my image links were broken in the one window when I refreshed it - and what do I do then?

Not save everything, no! I refresh both tabs, ensuring that all the image files were gone for good!
