the use of 挫折感 is a bit extreme for this scenario. it's generally used to express a total total failure at something, like, not being able to save someones life? this case is considered a general unfortunate event so there is no need for it - but having said that, it did made sense =) i didn't even know what 挫折感 meant!!! hehe.
i'd use [觉得][真的]很失败! [feeling] [real] total failure!
the characters in [] are optional, can use one or the other =)
