Confirmed Mulberries!

Picked down a leaf from the mystery tree in the backyard to confirm my suspicions that it's a mulberry tree. After some white belt level google-fu I've confirmed it's mulberries! Now I want to figure out what to do with them. I've never done jam before but it sounds like a good idea to me!

Just beware... once you step into jams and jellies, you'll soon want to start preserving EVERYTHING!!! Or at least that's what has happened to me. I'm tryin my first batch of fermented kosher fills now.

This was one of the first things I dug up, very tempting to get into. I have other berry bushes I planted early this season which will start producing in the next few years too. Jam everywhere! :)
