Various Series: Ideas over the past few days....
1. In lieu of really watching Kingdom Hearts (II) for the first time, I'd like to see, instead of SquareEnix and Disney... something like CLAMP and Shounen Jump team up to make a video game like that. I'd love to see Kamui in the world of PoT. And maybe... hmm... Yuzuriha in the world of Hikaru no Go. And Sakura in DBZ or something. Chunyan (I can't remember how her name is spelled in either version) in Naruto. Nokoru Imonoyama in Yu-Gi-Oh! (the fan...)
2. Koinu-kun and I were working a different version of Clue --- with special rules to renact Phoenix Wright (Gyakusai). We'd probably adjust the rules to follow the SNES version of the game. So far, the ideas are like Phoenix (Naruhodo) gets two accusations, Edgeworth (Mitsurugi) gets two extra cards, Maya knows the murder weapon automatically but cannot call it in her investigations, Detective Gumshoe's is kind of complicated so I won't explain it here, and other such rules for different characters. When we get it set down, test out all the rules and how they flow... we'll probably really go for it. In the meantime I'm hoping I can find my Clue board game set without having to drop 16 dollars to play with it....
3. Also tried the new Naurto (english) game -- Narutimate Hero 1, I believe it is. I was expecting something a LOT easier to play after all that the game developers were talking about it on the radio show... especially considering how incredibly easy PoT Smash Hit 2 is to play. (And the Naruto Gamecube game....) Maybe my standards are way too high? Or maybe I'm too used to a Capcom vs. SNK engine? (Even though I suck at it....)
4. You could make your ringtone on your cell Naruto's "Believe it!" and damned if you're not going to throw it out the window after a while, but at least you'd know when a phonecall is coming in....
