1. I forget why I friended you. It's been too long. I'm sure it had something to do with modeling for you but I forget exactly. 2. Spam, cheese, and porn all remind me of you. 3. I like that you're doofy, offbeat, and not Just Another Guy in any way that I can detect. 4. Remember when we did our photoshoot, and we were walking along the beach and we found that log with the chains on it? I kind of wish we'd not been at the end of the shoot when we found it (but, what can you do?) 5. You are so full of mysteries I don't even know where to begin. Right now I'm really curious why you're so enthusiastic about helping me learn about this camera of mine (not that i'm complaining at all, I'm just REALLY surprised to ask for help and have you dump your brain on me so gleefully!). 6. I love your default userpic best of all, actually. :-)
yup. I think it was modeling related way back when. Or some other reason I can't remember either!
With the new "sculpture park" in that area now, I haven't been there to see how they've taunted the landscape. I wonder if that log is still there. I'll have to go down and see on a day off that isn't raining sideways. I don't know if the park is as far down as the logs were.
I like yacking about photography. And I don't get to talk about it anymore, really. And I'm not one of the snooty types that feels like the information is a threat or a secret. I suppose if I were pro there'd be some level of trade secret I'd have to remain competitive in a difficult profession (at least in this town - pro photographers *with talent* are hard to find and keep alive.) Plus, in the new age of digital, I'm happy to help photographers learn vs. relying upon the LCD screen on the camera. That screen has its place for sure, And can be good feedback while learning, but "chimping" is a bad habit.
1. I met you through UMSFS! Hooray! As to why I friended you? I dunno, it seemed the thing to do. And I'm not sorry for it! 2. I associate you with Resident Evil. That's just how it is. 3. I like that you're totally unafraid to be yourself. That takes guts, and I respect guts. 4. Space GURPS. I bet I don't even need to go into detail. ;-) 5. Why don't we hang out more?! 6. I love the all grown up userpic. I don't know why, it's just nifty.
1. I met you through EotL but am fairly sure I didn't friend you here until I started dating Matt. Right? Or was it before? 2. Highlander. And Harry Potter. 3. I like that you're not stupid. It sounds vague and weird but really, you're the most unstupid person I know and that's great. 4. You married us! Yaaaaaay! 5. Why don't we see more of each other? It's not like we're THAT far ... 6. I like the "case of the stupid" userpic. It makes me snarf my drinks.
1. Correct! We knew each other there looooong before we friended each other here. 2. Hah. HL is such a calling card for me. 3. I like being not stupid! 4. I did! I have a picture of my shiny piece of paper stored somewhere on LJ. Unless LJ has eaten it like it ate my Vegas photos. 5. Because I am lazy. Hell, we never see our friends Ruth and Lila or Jeff and Marie and they only live in Cambridge. It really is silly. We should do something about it. 6. It really is a Jon Stewart quote. And ever so applicable so much of the time.
