House Repairs Update

Well we're finally seeing some progress on the house. Our electrician/plumber will be starting work this coming Monday and will be there all week. He thinks he'll probably still be finishing up on Saturday so we'll be moving on Sunday (glad the following Monday is a holiday). In order to prep the house for him we removed more drywall, put the

Hang in there~ It sounds like the place is almost livable. ^_^ That's too bad about all of the mold, bad wiring, and leaks, though... Since it was owned by the bank (if I read everything about it right) I guess that means you can't get reimbursement for things like that?

Thanks :) Yep, no reimbursements. Even if it was not a bank selling it, once the house is bought the seller has no obligation to you. The home warranty we got also isn't of any help for pre-existing conditions - which is just about everything.
