PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENT
Okay, so it might not be public service, but it might be charitable, even in the legal sense.
Folks,
I had earlier written about this blind jazz guitarist busker, the one who used to play serious jazz stuff outside Centrepoint. His name is Jeffrey Ng. He disappeared from Centrepoint some years back, no idea where he went, but now he's planted himself at Bishan Interchange.
He has had to change his repertoire to fit the crowds. This includes saccharine melodies, and now he even has to sing Hokkien songs.
That's professionalism.
But every now and then, he lapses. That's when you hear him seamlessly weaving in a hard jazzy guitar riff improv into whatever he's playing.
Please support him, in any way you can. If there's any busker Singapore, blind or not, who ought to be given donations solely in paper instead of metal, it should be him. If you have any potential lobang / gigs / openings for him, please let me know also.
