so i sit there, having been told there isn't anything for me to do that friday, the 4th of july. no work. no volunteer work that day-again, this makes sense, but as previously mentioned, the really nice uber-hippy lady on the phone had failed to mention that, despite having talked to her twenty other times. oh well

the three-story ikea in chicago has one of those cart things so you can get from floor to floor. you put your cart on it's thing, then step on the escalator, and ride up/down together. i was thoroughly confused when i saw it, too.

i'm glad you had a good time while you were there. at least you got to see some cool things and have a good time.

hope you figure out how to go to UK. i'm sure you'll find a way.
