First off: This sucks.
No use sugar coating this one. I'm helping out my dad at his shop this break, since I was the only available body. Again, sucks but I gotta be the dutiful daughter. Sigh, well at least it's almost over. But seriously, when it comes down to it, it's a matter of principle: I'm not going leave my dad hanging. Not when I'm around and available to help him. It's what a child should do when a parent has been supportive and shown respect. 'Duty' has that old honored tradition of a child obeying the parent(s) because the parent(s) had raise and provided for the child--therefore, obeying is the way that child repays the parent(s). It's all well and true in my situation, but there's that extra I've mention: respect. And that counts a ton in my book.
Other news: I have to start working on my midterm essay for Military History. Why in the world did this new guy had to be serious about the class? Apparently, the old (and now retired) instructor just talked and it was a 'ok, now we're done w/the necessary bull-shit, let's talk about the world'. Again: This sucks.
