Geraldine "Din-din" Palma was buried yesterday. To all those that sent their condolances and prayed for her passage to heaven, thank you very much. She is in a better place now where no one will harm her anymore, where people will love her and where she can watch over everyone.  We only wish that whoever did this to her will be caught and will get

An amusing thing happened to me on the 26th, a day after my 18th birthday party. I went to Manila Memorial to visit my grandmother's grave. I saw a burial happening across from our small lot. There were many many people wearing white. The caretaker told me that it was the funeral of the girl found in a maleta.

So, at that moment, from across the fields near my grandmother's still-fresh grave, I gave a little prayer for Din.
