We opened tonight to a standing ovation. Very cool. I've now sung this show through since Wednesday and I will be on voice rest tomorrow so that I can sing the two shows that are left this weekend. How did they handle casting? When we did it, they brought in all these extra kids, which not only boosted attendance, but also created just a few problems backstage - so, so much energy. I was really surprised that we didn't do better overall with it, but I think it's the ecomony more than the show. How are your houses?

Big River - heh, we called it Big Headache, mostly because our Huck Finn was frequently stoned. He's now one of our best actors, but there was a time... Do let us know if you got cast.

I'd say get some rest, but, hey, theatre... we can sleep when we're dead...

Sounds very exciting but exhausting as well! Hope you've managed to get plenty of rest. =)

I'm auditioning in November for a show called "Big River." Should be interesting. There are only a few women's parts because the show is about Huckleberry Finn. Hope I get in.
Good luck with that!
