(EDIT 5-20-2012)
Oh, look at that. EA has decided to arbitrarily
shut down Dragon Age Legends. Hopefully nobody was stupid enough to put real-world money into this steaming pile of crap.
Dragon Age Journeys, on the other hand, appears to still be up even now, and I've heard no news of it shutting down any time soon.
(/EDIT)
Dragon Age Journeys. Dragon Age Legends. Note that Legends is a Facebook app. That just about says it all right there. In case it doesn't, however, I will point out one of the most glaring differences between Journeys and Legends. With Journeys, you could play as long as you wanted. With Legends, you can play for maybe 10 minutes or so, before the game says "Nope, sorry, you're done for now. You have to wait until these arbitrary timers run out before you can start playing again. However, if you really do want to keep playing right now, we'll let you do so as long as you cough up some real life money." No, I will not be paying real life money to continue playing an incredibly crappy Facebook game.
I kept playing Journeys because it was actually fun in its own way, but the only reason I am going to continue trudging through Legends at all is for the Dragon Age II unlocks. Otherwise, it sucks just as horribly as any other Facebook game I've ever tried to play, and for pretty much the same reasons.
