LOL Unrequited loves are the best. They don't drink all night, leave their dirty underwear lying on the bedroom floor, leave the toiletseat up, or spend all your money on some stupid gadget. :D

A one night stand can do all of those things as well, so they're not so great. Plus they're only for one night. They're usually more that embarrassing memory you try to forget. :D "Like, OMG, I can't believe I did that!"

But unrequited loves are just pleasant. You don't really expect anything of them, so you can't be disappointed. But you can dream anyway and make them *perfect*, which isn't something you can say about a real-life romance. None of those nasty issues that get in the way of real relationships. ;)

Embarrassing only if the guy you went home with turned out to be "Cayote Ugly" XD But if he was hot, like say...David Cook. OMG. I'm all for it.

It's the imperfections that make life so bittersweet.
