Questions re: BOSTON (in BALTIMORE, not Boston)

Feb 18, 2010 08:31

I have to finalize basics very soon.  So here's your last chance for input before I make everything official - and post it on x-t and NASPA:

Please reply, and thanks in advance:
  • 90% certain that it'll be 20 games, beginning either Friday late afternoon or night.  Which is better for you, more games Friday ( afternoon start) or more on Saturday?
  • June 4 ( Read more... )

What Kate said! Baseball!

All those weekends are equally good for me, as far as I know...

No class prizes is fine

I'm fine with $3k and other monies a bit more spread out. Not a big deal to me either way

Food... meh. I'll get it where I get it. Not a big deal

Yes, coffee coffee coffee!

Very likely to attend

Would prefer to play $125, but an extra few bucks won't keep me home

the 18th is by far the best weekend for me, as my last final is thursday the 10th very late. The weekend of the 11th would be better if it started Saturday ( ... )

More Saturday games is better, I had to miss some school last year for HO which made it harder for me to get there (my parents didn't want me to miss)

I will almost certainly come June 4th and June 11th weekends. June 18th I couldn't because of midterms.

I highfive you! But I really wouldn't mind a single small prize for the person who gained the most rating or something.

3K vs. 4K doesn't matter too much to me. Both have their benefits.

On-site meal is nice if it's at a hotel, otherwise it's a bit of a drag to go somewhere else. I don't care at all about coffee though, I just like there to be water in the tourney room (HO was good about this)

I'd almost definitely stay at the hotel no matter what.

If it's June 4th or June 11th weekends I am probably 95% likely to attend. It'll be my first tournament since Charlotte.

I'd support $150 entry fee.

So excited!

Of course I will play, and let me know if I can do anything to help with the organization/planning.

Baseball and Scrabble and no coffee and no meals (assuming there are plentiful choices) and minimal class prizes and $125 EF and < $100/night for a room and any June weekend ...

and yeah, I'd probably show up :-)
