Hot off the Presses!

What a way to end a tournament!  Brian Bowman was a game back and tons of spread points behind  Jeff Fiszbein before the KOH round at Pittsburgh.

Brian's first five plays were bingoes - including a trip-trip.  Final score for him - something like 620.  And oh yeah, he pulled ahead of Jeff.

Congrats, Brian!

Maybe I'm being too nitpicky. But I shared this info with Terry on the phone in my car, and I think a little bit got lost in the translation. I don't want to be guilty of spreading any misinformation. Brian did play five bingos in a row, but I don't know if they were on his first five turns. I think he had to win by at least 140 or so to catch Jeff. He surpassed that, but I don't know what Jeff scored.

I heard someone in the tournament room say, "bingo, bango, bongo, Irving, Bowman."

Does that mean I get to perform this feat next? I mean, hey... if Brian Bowman can do it, and y'all have named the fifth bingo for him, I should get to partake in the glory too... naming rights, you know...

If that logic were sound, I'd invest the money in changing my last name to Gibson.

Anyone got pics? Or an annotated game? Either way, that's great.
