im pretty sure everyone agreed that north korea and iran were batshit insane to begin with... saddam was at least somewhat predictable in comparison.

yeah. a part of me misses the old status quo allowing psychotic dictators to stay in power. the only reason the arab world put up with saddam was because he served to counter ballance Iran. shoot, they even gave him $100 Billion (astounding, i know) during his war with Iran.
