I prayed and a few hours later the song came back. I was so distraught. It seemed so important for me to have. It wasn't long after I accepted that the song was gone that it came back to me. I thought I would cry. Now if I could only mend someone's heart. That's driving me crazy.

Hmm, what does the song tell us about God? That our songs are not ours after all? ... Maybe. :)

As for hearts, they aren't ours either. God will heal them--perhaps when we accept the hurt?

I don't know. I'm rambling and I need to go to work.

The song is something I'm working on. It's about a friend that I recently turned down at the prospect of a romatntic relationship. Although that may be changing now, that's what it's about.

Friends and relationships...its a tough combination. You're lucky to be able to write music, I just have to make do with listening to Jeff Buckley and Elliot Smith, and taking heart from the fact that other people have been through what I'm going through and have survived.
